What follows are questions to Starfleet’s Admirals Test. There will be ten, and you must score at least a 75% to pass. Questions will range from diplomatic procedure to battle tactics to philosophical questions. If you cannot answer a question, simply say that. Please answer in full questions with correct grammar, and try to provide as much justification and explanation for your answers as possible. Upon completion, the test will be given to the board of HRs who decide on the grade, and the average of these will be your final grade. If you pass, you will move on to the "driving test", so to speak, where you captain a starship simulation. This is not exactly the same as before, but it is a much better system. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

2. You are sent on a mission to negotiate peace between two neighboring worlds. However, upon seeing you are federation, one race declares that you are biased towards race#two, and peace talks are broken off. What do you do?

3. There are three suspects in the murder of the starships Vulcan captain. One is a cadet, fresh out of the academy, with no criminal record, but a hatred for Vulcans. Next is first officer Roght, a Klingon, and a good friend of Captain Tu’Lok. His only crime on his record is that of killing a man while said man was breaking into his house. Third is an admiral, wh###ad never met Captain Tu’Lok before th###ay of his death, but expressed great disapproval for his way of doing things. Th###aid admiral was also a slight sociopath. Wh###urdered th###aptain?

4. Enemies shields are down, but you have one torpedo and no phasers and no maneuvering power. They are about to come into range, but they will be able to shoot you first. What do you do?

5. You must choose between saving the head admiral, 2iCs, and 3iCs, or everyone below the rank of Lieutenant in Starfleet. Which do you choose?

6. You are on a science vessel, assigned to investigate a class-8 spacial anymole, and the assignment was labeled top priority urgent by Starfleet command. Suddenly, you detect high levels of tachyon particles coming from nearby. If you investigated, it'd put you a day off course. Do you investigate, or not?

7. There are two planets, each of equal population, each inflicted with a plague. You only have enough cure for one full planet. Planet A, is part of UFOP, while Planet B is a member of a rival species. Both planets, however, contain th###ntirety of their species. No Planet A'ians live anywhere but planet a, and th###ame with planet B. What do you do?

8. There is a Klingon advancing on your position. You only have one phaser blast left, and you have a crewmate with a wound that needs to be quarterized. If it is not quarterized, it will become infected, and the crewman will die. There are no other weapons around, and the Klingon has a Bat-Leth. What do you do?

9. A shapeshifter has infiltrated Starfleet, and had taken the form of the head admiral. Now you face a choice- which one is real? If you choose wrong, the fake one will activate a bomb, killing the entire population of Earth. Both know personal things about him, both look identical, both talk identically. How do you choose?

10. You have gone back in time, and changed the timeline, so that the Vulcans declared war on Earth. You cannot travel back forward in time. What do you do?1: Assuming the captain was acting justly I would first look to see if they were dazed or injured and if they weren't I would go and fire. If it was not just I would support the crewmen.

4: I would have my crew arm some probes and load them as well as set some ## ### to take the blow for us, while they were doing that a short distance out of range I would haail them and pretend to surrender and when everything was ready I would fire everything.

5: In Starfleet the vast majority are the Lieutenant -, so the needs of the meny out way the needs of the few, or the one.

6: I would send a probe and maybe a shuttle if I deem it nessasary I would give half to one and half to the other, this way they both can continue. I would also check if there was anywhere nearby that I could get more and try to synthesize some.

9: Stun them both then do the blood test to determine which is which, if that doesn't work then I might mind meld, as a mind meld can be dangerous I would try my other options first.
